SHILLONG: Allegations have come to the fore regarding the manner in which the examination for the posts of jugalis(linemen) was conducted.
A job applicant identified as Mantiphrang Lyngdoh Kiri lodged a complaint that he had applied for the post of jugali in MeECL and had done well both in physical test and personal interview.
However, his name did not reflect in the merit list. In this connection, he had sought various information under RTI Act, including separate score sheets of both physical test and personal interview and found it to be unsatisfactory. He alleged that the original score sheets relating to the posts of Jugali have been evidently, manipulated and tampered with.
