SHILLONG: The Megha-laya Agricultural Students and Graduate Association on Thursday staged a protest at the State Central Library premises demanding immediate recruitment of all the State sponsored quota graduates who have signed the bond cum agreement from 2004-05 onwards based on seniority within a month.
A delegation of the students also met agricultural minister Banteidor Lyngdoh to push their demands.
A member of the association said that they have been long denied of their rights and every attempt made seeking the government intervention in to the matter has confined to mere assurances.
He however hoped that the MDA government will help them out.
