SHILLONG: The Department of Political Science, North-Eastern Hill University along with HRDC NEHU organised a three-week refresher course in political science in state and globalisation which began from October 22.
The event saw the participation of 38 assistant professors from various universities and colleges from different parts of Northeast selected out of 69 applicants for the course.
The course was coordinated by Dr Biswajit Mohapatra.
At the event, eminent resource persons both from within NEHU and other universities of the region delivered lectures on different themes and facilitated critical discussion among the participants in order to understand the challenges being faced by the state and the Northeast.
On the last day of the refresher course on Saturday, a valedictory function was held.
