Body recovered
On Wednesday evening, Ri Bhoi Police recovered one body near Jackwell, Umiam in East Khasi Hills. The body was later handed over to Mawlai PS as the PO falls under Mawlai PS.
Theft
Purnandu Paul of Oakland, lodged a complaint stating that on January 29 between 10 am to 2 pm, unknown miscreants broke into his residence and stole Rs 35,000 cash and gold ornaments valued around Rs 40,000.
Preetam Chettri lodged a complaint stating that on January 27, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05R-6979) which was parked at New Colony in Laitumkhrah.
