BJP aims to win 300 seats in Lok Sabha polls: Ram Madhav

GUWAHATI:  The BJP National General Secretary and the in-charge of party’s Northeast affairs,  Ram Madhav  on Wednesday  said that party  was aiming to win the at least 300 Lok Sabha seats in the next Parliamentary election so as to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister once again.

Addressing the party’s state convention at Imphal in Manipur, Ram Madhav exuded confidence that the BJP will win both the parliamentary seats in Manipur – Inner and Outer parliamentary constituencies.

“India has developed in every spheres including economy after BJP Government was installed. Every Indian Citizen is now leading dignified life under the leadership of PM Modi”, he said.

Manipur Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh  lauding the measures initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in retaliation to recent Pulwama terror attack in Kashmir,  the incident consolidated India’s  stand in fight against terror before the global community.

He said that the support extended by foreign countries in the wake of the terror attack indicated the merit of India’s Foreign Policy initiated by Prime Minister Modi.

Regarding the protection of the indigenous people of the state, Biren added that President of India was being urged to give his assent to Manipur People Bill 2018. He also assured that the Centre was taking into account the suggestions of the State Government.
