RESUBELPARA: The SPs of Goalpara in Assam and North Garo Hills recently held a meeting to discuss inter-state border issues, including human trafficking.
Goalpara SP Sushanta Biswas Sharma and his North Garo Hills counterpart SR Marak met on March 12 to discuss about border security, inter-state crime like human trafficking, child marriage and militancy problems. An action plan was also prepared to resolve any issue related to the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in the bordering areas.
