TURA: The SSA teachers from Ampati on Wednesday alleged negligence by officials of the SBI Ampati branch resulting in delay in crediting their salary amounts.
“We are grateful to the government for releasing our pending salaries on March 29. However, due to the negligence by the staff and branch manager of the SBI Ampati Branch, our salaries are yet to be released till date,” a leader of the SSA Teachers’ Association, T Sangma alleged.
The teachers also claimed that when they requested the branch manager to look into the matter, the latter did not listen to their plea and told them to get out of his office.
The teachers also requested concerned authorities to look into the matter warning that the SSA Teachers’ Association would take up the matter seriously.
