Dry days declared in NGH

TURA,: In exercise of powers conferred upon the District Magistrate, North Garo Hills under section 52 (1) of the Meghalaya Excise Act, Dry Days have been declared on 9, 10 and 11 April in connection with the ensuing Lok Sabha Election and on 23 May being the day for counting of votes.
Therefore, all IMFL, retail shops and all Bonded warehouses under North Garo Hills district shall remain closed on the notified dates. Any violation of the order will be viewed seriously and action will be taken as per the Meghalaya Excise Rules.
