Forgery
Rameshwar Thakur, ex-Secretary, New Bhaitbari village (WGH) lodged a complaint that Nobonitha Talukdar was involved in the forgery of his signature as former Secretary of New Bhaitbari Bengali School (WGH).
Theft attempt
Lutbor Mollah and three others lodged a joint complaint that on April 4 at about 11.45 pm, two persons, namely Md. Abdul Mullah, President, Water Sanitation Committee and Md. Mostafizur Prodhani, Secy., Water Sanitation Committee, Gomaijora village under Phulbari PS (WGH) were caught red-handed while they were attempting to load public supply materials in a pick-up vehicle.
Stolen
A complaint was lodged that in the month of Feb. 2019, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Ranjit Bhattacharjee at Bishnupur, Shillong and stole one TV valued around Rs. 25,555. Further, cash amounting to Rs. 600/- in Rs. 100 denomination were found partially burnt.
