KOHIMA: The continuous spree of resignations by the party functionaries to support the ruling Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate for Lok Sabha election and continuous suspensions in the Naga People’s Front (NPF) party of Nagaland has become a routine affair.
The office bearers of NPF party’s frontal organisations from six Assembly Constituencies of Nagaland, on Thursday have resigned en-masse in a joint letter to the NPF president.
The party functionaries of all frontal organisations have resigned en-masse from both active and primary membership of the NPF party with immediate effect.
NPF President Shurhozelie has issued a suspension order on Thirsday to 19 party functionaries throughout the state for violating the party norms saying that it is a unbecoming of them as party leaders and total breach of discipline. (UNI)
