TURA: A general public meeting recently held at Rongjeng dissolved the former adhoc body of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) and reconstituted a new body to raise various developmental issues pertaining to the area.
The new members of the committee have been selected for a period of three years with Kanande Ch Marak as president, Eshau Sangma as vice President, Newin Sangma as general secretary, Thirtiush K Marak as joint secretary, Poldik Sangma as treasurer, Anjush R Marak as accountant and Mingsin Sangma as organizer of the committee.
