SHILLONG: The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya conducted an awareness programme on the ‘Criminal Justice System and Importance of Good Mental Health’ on Wednesday for second and third year B. Tech students.
Rohit Dwivedi, Associate Professor of IIM Shillong, explained about the importance of good mental health and the balance between emotional and physical health.
He also emphasised on the importance of self exploration.
The second session on criminal justice system was conducted by J Dhanoa, SDPO, Shillong who explained the basics of law and major components of the Justice System.
Meanwhile, BB Biswal, director of the institute said that the institute will continue to organise similar programmes in order to spread awareness to students with regard to the numerous social issues prevalent in today’s world.
