SHILLONG: The decision to convene the KHADC session on Tuesday to take up a no confidence motion against the executive committee at a time when there is restriction on gathering all over the state has raised many an eyebrow.
Earlier, the Assembly session was adjourned to restrict large gathering but neither the Governor nor the District Council Affairs department is yet to take any decision on deferring the session.
When contacted on Sunday, KHADC Chairman PN Syiem said that he might discuss the matter with the District Council Affairs minister and the office of the Governor on Monday.
