Nongpoh: A selected category of services will be allowed to open in Ri Bhoi, for 6 days starting from May 18 to May 31.
In an order issued by the District Magistrate Ri Bhoi, all shops and services dealing in the sale of dry fish or processed fish, courier service for essential good, e-commerce operations in essential good, common service centres, distribution of packaged drinking water and juices notified by the state and collection centres of MeECL in community hall of each localities in the district are allowed to open.
Further, commercial activities, agricultural and allied sector activities, operation of tea industries, transportation of agricultural products, MGNREGA works etc are allowed to operate on daily basis.
