JYF, JSU warn stern action

 JOWAI: The Jaintia Youth Federation (JYF) along with the Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) have warned of stern action against all illegal migrant labourers and suspected foreigners in Jaintia Hills who failed to produce valid documents including labour license and papers to prove their citizenship.

Both the organisations have also urged all the Rangbah Shnong of Jaintia Hills not to blindly issue no objection or residential certificates to migrants. “Irresponsible actions on part of the Rangbah Shnong has added to the influx problem here”, JYF president, P Majaw said.
