Accident claims one, injures three

 Shillong: One person died while three others sustained injuries when a truck (ML 10 A 0450) carrying cement fell in the deep gorge at Umstew village in Sohra at on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as L Boy Buhsan (23), son of L Rambahadur Kumar of Mawkisyiem village wheras the injured were identified as the driver of the truck, Kumar Sunar (35), Pynbitbiang Nonglait (30) and Kamal Thakuri (27).

The accident took place while proceeding from Sohra to Laitryngew village to upload cement at Laitryngew on Wednesday.
