TURA: The District Administration of South Garo Hills organised a workshop-cum-awareness programme on Integrated Basin Development and Livelihood Programme (IBDLP) at Chokpot Block.
More than 200 people took part in the programme where resource persons from the line departments associated with the nine missions (Aquaculture, Horticulture, Silk, Livestock, Forestry & Plantation Crops, Apiculture, Tourism, Water and Energy) under IBDLP delivered lectures on their respective topics and schemes.
Others present at the programme were JRT Sangma, Extra Assistant Commissioner, South Garo Hills, BK Sangma, Research Office, District Planning Office, South Garo Hills, LK Sangma, ARO, District Planning Office and BC Sangma, FAO, MRDS, South Garo Hills.
