Shillong: Taking a cue from the ad hoc and deficit school teachers who have been resorting to agitations demanding a pay hike and release of 30 per cent of arrears due to them, the Meghalaya College Non-Teaching Staff Association (MCNTSA) has also stepped up its demand for release of their 30 per cent arrears, even as they threatened to go on agitation if their demand was not met within September 20.
Informing this here on Sunday, MCNTSA president, R Mawrie, stated that the demand was put forward following a meeting among members of the Association recently.
“We feel that our demand for the release of the 30 per cent arrears is timely since the ad hoc and deficit school teachers are also demanding the same,” Mawrie said.
