JOWAI: A nineteen-year-old from Mihmyntdu Loompyrdi, West Jaintia Hills, reportedly drowned in Myntdu river at Pynthor Ialong, Ialong village, on Sunday.
Sources said that the youth, Da-u-rupaia Biam, had gone to take bath in the river along with his friends.
According to police, the body was retrieved on Monday and handed over to the family after inquest.
