SHILLONG, May 8: An earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale rocked Shillong and other parts of the state on Saturday.
The earthquake which occurred at 6:50 pm had its epicentre in East Khasi Hills at a depth of 13 km.
There was no report of loss of life or damage to property from the quake.
