SHILLONG: The delay in getting recognition to MBBS course of NEIGRIHMS has prompted the UDP member Paul Lyngdoh to take up the issue in the State Assembly on Thursday.

During the question hour, Lyngdoh asked the Deputy Chief Minister in charge Health, Rowell Lyngdoh whether NEIGRIHMS obtained recognition of MCI for the MBBS course.

In reply, the Deputy Chief Minister said the inspection team of MCI would soon visit NEIGRIHMS to inspect the facilities before giving recognition to the MBBS course.
