Drugs seized
During a police checking at Nongthymmai here on Friday, 516 stripes of Spasmoproxyvon capsules (4128 capsules), one scooter (ML05 J 5583), and two mobile phones were seized from one Sangte Paite (20) and Lalhming Liana (20), both of Madanriting.
Rape
On February 21 at around 5 pm, Baristat Marbaniang (22 yrs) attempted to rape one minor girl at Nonglait village (WKH).
Code of conduct violation
T.S.R. Marak, Magistrate lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on February 21, occupants of a vehicle (ML-05J-8317) Ratul Baruah, Birjee Dorjee, Sanjay Mondal and Robin Mondal displayed the flag and sticker of INC on the vehicle after the permissible time.
Body found
On February 20, one Parimol Roy, driver constable of MPRO was found dead inside MPRO Barrack at Tura (WGH). The cadaver was sent for post mortem.
Abduction
One Heramon Bamon lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on February 18 at about 6.30 pm, unknown miscreants abducted Crehange Bamon and Santu Singh from Jaintia Cement Ltd. (EJH).
