Four fresh cases, no death

SHILLONG, Feb 28: The state on Monday recorded a sharp decline in COVID-19 cases with only four fresh cases being reported in the past 24 hours. The state also did not record any death due to COVID-19 on Monday.
The active tally has gone down to 178 while the number of recoveries has surged to 91,721. There were 22 recoveries on. The death toll in the state remains at 1,578.
Two of the fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills while one case each was reported from West Jaintia Hills and Ri-Bhoi.
