MB Rymbai to take over as JHADC CEM

SHILLONG: Congress MDCs of the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) have unanimously elected Madonbai Rymbai as their new leader and the next CEM after the incumbent Lamdibok Sumer stepped down on Monday on the request of the party leadership.

The Congress MDCs elected their new leader during a meeting convened by MPCC president DD Lapang in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Prof RC Laloo, PWD Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar and other senior party functionaries at the Congress Bhavan here on Tuesday.

The meeting witnessed serious deliberations after which the MPCC president formal announced the election of Rymbai as the new CEM.
