BSNL service

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has informed that all the BSNL landlines, broadband, leased lines and ISDN services at Police Bazar have been severely affected due to the uprooting of BSNL pillar by MUDA authorities. The BSNL also informed that steps are being taken for early restoration of services and inconvenience caused to subscribers is regretted.

 Workshop

The State Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with Revenue & Disaster Management will organise a two day state level workshop on April 25 and 26 at 10:30 am on various aspects of national school safety programme. Venues are Yojana Bhawan on April 25 and St Edmunds School on April 26.

 Exhibition

The office of the District School Education Officer will organise a district level science exhibition on April 25 and 26 from 1 am at Anton Hall.

 Hunger strike

 Conference

Meghalaya Medical Service Association will organise its XVIII Scientific Conference Cum General Body meeting to be held at Hotel Pinewood on April 26 and 27. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, MMSA general secretary Aman War informed that the State Government has kindly granted three days special Casual Leaves (CL) for doctors posted outside Shillong and two days for doctors posted in Shillong during the day of the conference.

 Cleaning drive

The KHADC would kick off their ‘Clean Wahumkhrah Mission’ with the cleaning drive from Umkaliar to Demseiñiong on April 26 from 9 am onwards.
