SHILLONG: Concerned over the loopholes in the Megha Health Insurance scheme (MHIS), the general secretary, Meghalaya State BJP Dipayan Chakraborty has urged the Health Minister AL Hek to correct the anomalies.

In a letter to Hek on Monday, Chakraborty said the party is concerned over the anomalies.

“The people in the State with great enthusiasm registered themselves to avail the Megha Health Insurance Scheme and now they are facing problems as the insurance company failed to reimburse their bills. It shows that there are anomalies in the scheme”, he said.

According to the BJP leader, the Government can take the credit for the scheme but people are facing various problems with the scheme.
