Assault

lOn July 5 around 3 pm, Wandonbok Nongbri assaulted his wife, Tori Wankhar (41) at Nongthymmai, Shillong. As a result, she sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong.

lOn July 5 around 9:40 pm, three persons, Phrangbalang L. Mawnai, Hopefullborn L. Mawnai and Kedorlang L. Mawnai assaulted Skhemborlang Nongrum (38) at Lummawbah, Upper Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong.

lOne Abbas Ali lodged a complaint that on June 25, six persons armed with lethal weapons, Aziban Rahman, Gazibar Rahman, Abu Kalam, Abu Taher, Bokhar Ali andTayub Ali went to his house and assaulted his wife, Golabanu Bibi (wife), two sons – Ariful Ali and Ektamul Ali and daughter, Arjuma Khatoon. As a result, victims sustained injuries.

Theft

Manoj Agarwal lodged a complaint that on July 4 around 10 am, five armed unidentified miscreants stopped his ten-wheeler truck (AS-11-AC-7499) on Shillong By-pass Road (Ri-Bhoi) and forcibly drove away the truck along with the driver and the handyman. Later, the miscreants abandoned the driver and the handyman in a jungle at Nagaon, Assam.

Accident

On July 3, one bus (ML-08-0995) dashed against one motorcycle (ML-07A-7005) driven by Rengdam Momin at Dobasipara, Tura . As a result, the rider of motorcycle sustained injuries and was moved to Civil Hospital, Tura. A criminal case has been registered in this co
