Shillong, April 4: An old video of an altercation between two women in Delhi metro has resurfaced online in which one of them is seen using pepper spray on the other.
The video was published on Twitter by a political leader and has since attracted millions of views.
Inside the metro train, the women insult each other before one of them is seen removing a pepper spray from her purse to threaten the other. The video captures the two women yelling at each other. Thereafter, when one of them grabs the arm of the other, a fight breaks out.

As one of the women sprays the pepper spray on the other, things quickly get out of hand. The lady who is being sprayed refuses to let go of the other’s hand in an attempt to stop the attack but is unsuccessful. In order to lessen the impact of the spray, the other woman turns away.
Other passengers are also heard coughing in the background for a few seconds until things calm down. The argument continues as the woman brandishing the pepper spray backs away from the chair. It is assumed that the two women were strangers if the video is to be trusted.
Several people are condemning the brawl, which has received over 8.2 lakh views on Twitter. “Ladies’ compartments on Mumbai local trains are no different,” a user commented. Only the delivery method of instruction varies.
