SHILLONG, April 25: Director of North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Nalin Mehta has called upon the youngsters of the state to wear their helmets while riding a two-wheeler to keep away from ICU of the hospital.
He made the remarks while taking cognizance of the motorists and pillions riding in the city without helmets.
The NEIGRIHMS Director lamented that there have been several fatal road accidents where young people have lost their lives simply because they were not wearing helmets. He urged the youths to ride safely.
