Shillong Club terminates security services

 Shillong: Following the allegations by women security guards guarding the Shillong Golf Course, against a member of the Shillong Club, L Wanglat, the Management of the Shillong Club has decided to terminate the services of Unique Security Services owned by one R Marak with effect from August 1.

A letter signed by the Managing Director of the Club, Suresh Singh, said that the allegations leveled by disgruntled members of the security agency against their Club member L Wanglat was found to be without merit or substance and was done to tarnish his name and cause disharmony among Club members.
