Shillong, June 27: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has received an invitation from UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to attend his reception, commemorating UK-India Week 2023.
The reception, held at 10 Downing Street, serves as a part of the India Global Forum’s flagship event, UK-India Week, taking place in London from June 26 to June 30.
UK-India Week is an annual program organized by the India Global Forum (IGF) to celebrate and strengthen the enduring partnership between the two countries. The event highlights significant subjects such as politics, trade, business, sustainability, inclusion, and innovation.
Sonam Kapoor, known for her prominent presence in Bollywood, will represent India and its cultural influence on a global scale at the reception on June 28. The event serves as a platform to recognize and honor the partnership between the UK and India.
