Headless body found afloat Umiam Lake

SHILLONG, July 10: The headless body of a male was found floating on the Umiam Lake on Monday, police said.
A statement from the East Khasi Hills SP’s office said the deceased was fair in complexion, had a height of around 5.5 feet and was aged between 30-40 years.
A case has been registered at Lumdiengjri police station.
