Synjuk inspires compassion at blood donation camp in Ri-Bhoi

NONGPOH, Aug 14: In a display of community solidarity and humanitarianism, the Synjuk ki Seng Samla Shnong, Ri-Bhoi, joined hands with the HDFC Bank Nongpoh Branch to organise a voluntary blood donation drive at the Blood Bank of Civil Hospital here on Monday. This joint initiative aimed to contribute to the welfare of the local society and provide a lifeline to those in need.
Led by Banphrang Syiem, adviser to the Synjuk, and Aristone Ryndongsngi, its chairman, leaders and members of the organisation volunteered to donate blood during the programme.
Ryndongsngi stressed that donating blood poses no harm to the donor and urged fellow community members to shed any doubts and embrace this life-saving practice. He further the organisation’s future plans, indicating the formation of a dedicated blood donation cell.
