Meghalaya’s Subroto Cup team given warm send off

SHILLONG, Sep 14: Meghalaya will be participating in the 62nd edition Subroto Cup Football Tournament 2023 to be held in New Delhi from the 19th to the 26th September, 2023 where Saiden Secondary School, Nongpoh, winners of the State Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2023 will represent the state in the U-17 Years Girls category.
The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs on Thursday organised a send off ceremony for the Meghalaya Subroto Cup Football Team 2023 U-17 Years Girls Saiden Secondary School Nongpoh at MFA Football Ground.
Isawanda Laloo, IAS Director Sports and Youth Affairs was the chief guest of the programme in the presence of PB War Nongbri Assistant Director Sports and Youth Affairs, District Sports Officer Ri-Bhoi. Headmaster of Saiden Secondary School Nongpoh, teachers and others were present.
