SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police M Kharkrang on Sunday asserted that police have evidence of the involvement of the four persons in the arson case at Bishnupur.
Police had arrested four persons including KSU Lawsohtun unit general secretary Readystone Nongrum for their alleged involvement in the incident where Bisheshwar Das, owner of a tea stall, sustained severe burn injuries when he was set on fire inside his stall.
The district police chief informed that police would soon file the charge sheet against the four persons.
