CM launches Hello Meghalaya OTT Platform

Shillong, July 11: The Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma on Thursday launched the Hello Meghalaya OTT Platform, at the Lariti Auditorium.

Hello Meghalaya is State’s 1st OTT platform dedicated for creative and informative content from the state.

The platform is set to provide a platform to local content creators and filmmakers to showcase their work, but will also help them earn.

Conrad Sangma, speaking about it said, “This is also an aim to promote our language. We can ask for the inclusion in the 8th schedule, but what are we doing as a state to promote it?”

The Chief Minister also announced the ambitious collaboration between Meghalaya Grassroots Music Project (MGMP) and Hard Rock Cafe, wherein the state’s hard rock bands are to get a stage to perform across the nation and build a brand for themselves.
