MCA names U-15 girls’ squad for BCCI One Day

Shillong, Nov 10: The Junior Girls Selection Committee of the Meghalaya Cricket Association has selected 15 players with standbys to represent the state in the BCCI’s U-15 Women’s One Day Trophy, which will be held in Odisha from 21 to 29 November.
The process to get to this stage has been a long one, with the girls undergoing a TW-3 bone test for age verification, as per BCCI norms, and then three days of selection trials at Nongkhrah, Ri-Bhoi. The selected players are now taking part in a fortnight-long preparatory camp, also at Nongkhrah. The squad will then depart for Odisha on 18 November.
