SHILLONG: As part of the celebration of National Voter’s Day, the Deputy Commissioner (Election), South West Garo Hills, is organizing a bicycle race for both men and women on January 25, 2014 from 7 am.
The bicycle race will be followed by a procession from Ampati Mini-Stadium to the Multi-Facility Centre, DC’s Office Complex.
The bicycle race will be flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner (Election), Ram Singh, at Ampati Mini Stadium. Winners will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 10,000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.
