NPP releases 2nd list of 7 candidates for KHADC polls

Shillong, Jan 11: The National People’s Party (NPP) on Saturday released the second list of seven candidates for the upcoming polls to the KHADC.
The party has released the names of four party candidates in the second list including sitting MLA, Sosthenes Sohtun, former sitting MLA/MDC, Samlin Malngiang from Sohiong, Dr Amanda Annete Pakyntein from Mawkynrew, Joplin Sten from Mawhati, Elias Kharbihkhiew from Sohryngkham, Sharailang Warjri from Mawthadraishan and Kordor L. Nongkynrih from Mawkhar Pynthorumkhrah.
When contacted, NPP state working president, Hamletson Dohling informed that that party is likely to release the third list of the party candidates of the remaining constituencies for both KHADC and JHADC on Monday.
So far the NPP has announced a total number of 25 candidates for the KHADC while another 26 candidates for the JHADC.
