SHILLONG, June 5: In the wake of risky conditions and in a bid to ensure the smooth and safe execution of ongoing road construction works, the road stretch from Laitlyngkot to Lyngkyrdem (Chainage Kms 24+00 – 37+00) has been periodically closed to all vehicular traffic from June 9 to 13 between 8 AM and 11 AM as well as 1 PM and 4 PM.
The government has urged all commuters to plan their travel accordingly during the mentioned closure period.
