SHILLONG: One Bangladeshi national identified as Anamuddin (28) from Sylhet was apprehended on Tuesday by BSF troops of BOP Khaliang in East Jaintia Hills District. A voter ID card with fake name of Atuar Rahman issued by DC Karimganj (Assam) on November 15, 2006 was recovered from his possession.
Meanwhile, two Bangladeshi smugglers were also apprehended by BSF troops of BOP Dawki in West Jaintia Hills.
