Tournament
The finals of the Fr KV George Memorial Inter School Football Tournament under 16 and 13 will be held on May 28 at the Don Bosco mini stadium. Shillong Press Club president David Laitphlang will be the chief guest.
Unidentified body
On May 26, one unidentified male body (35) was found lying in the drain of Mawlonghat Parking lot and the body is kept at the Shillong Civil Hospital morgue for identification.
Exam schedule
The Term End Examination for June, 2014 of Indira Gandhi National Open University will commence from June 2, and will conclude on June 28. According to IGNOU, the University has established 830 Examination Centres including 41 overseas and 71 in Jail for jail inmates. Hall Ticket have been issued to 4,56,132 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination. The hall ticket is also available on www. ignou.ac.in, IGNOU which can be downloaded.
Result
The teachers and managing committee of Rev Meshak Kharkongor Memorial Secondary School, Quinine Nongpoh, has congratulated Evergreen Khongjoh and other students who passed out the SSLC Examination of MBOSE 2014 with good percentage.
