SHILLONG, March 15: The State BJP on Saturday organised a training session at Mawsynram as part of the Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, aimed at strengthening ideological understanding and organisational capacity among party workers.
State BJP General Secretary Wankitbok Pohshna stated that the initiative provides a structured platform to discuss the party’s history, evolution, and foundational philosophy of “Integral Humanism.” The sessions also focused on the concept of “Antyodaya,” which emphasizes delivering welfare benefits to the most marginalized sections of society.
Pohshna added that the training highlights various government welfare schemes aligned with these principles, ensuring that party workers are well-versed in the BJP’s governance approach.
The programme was attended by state vice president Bipen Pradhan, district president Priyambada Blah, State Mahila Morcha president Arena Hynniewta, and mandal president Badon Marak, along with members from various organisational units.
