Regularisation of service for teachers approved

SHILLONG: The Cabinet has approved the regularisation of the service of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the Tirot Sing Memorial Secondary School in Laitkynsew, Sohra.

“We have decided to regularise the service of all the staff both teaching and non-teaching staff at the time when we had taken the decision in taking over the management of the school,” Deputy Chief Minister in charge Education department Prof RC Laloo told newsmen after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday.

He also said that the Cabinet has taken decision so that it does not have to go to the MPSC for regularisation. The Deputy Chief Minister also informed that the teachers who were regularised included one headmaster, seven teaching and one non-teaching staff.
