State engaged in 7833 cases

SHILLONG: The State Government is engaged in as many as 7833 cases in different courts of Meghalaya.

This was revealed by Deputy Chief Minister in charge of Law department Rowell Lyngdoh while replying to a question by the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly on Tuesday.

The summary and status of the cases were, however, not revealed by the Minister.
