Andy TG Lyngdoh has been awarded PhD in Geography by the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, for his thesis ‘Assessment of Changes in Agro-based Livelihood Practices in Ri-Bhoi District, Meghalaya’, which he completed under the supervision of Dr S Purkayastha. He is the son of Inamorata Marbaniang and the grandson of Mount Everest Kharwanlang, and a resident of Laban-Lower Lumparing.
