SHILLONG, May 2: Cabinet Minister and South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai felicitated SSLC topper Wangaal Lama for securing the first position in the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) merit list.
During a felicitation programme, Shullai described Lama’s achievement as a matter of pride for the state and an inspiration for other students, noting that such success reflects dedication, discipline, and a strong academic support system.
The programme also recognised the principal and teachers of Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School for their role in mentoring the student.
The minister encouraged students to maintain their focus and determination when pursuing future goals. Educators added that Lama’s performance serves as a reflection of the quality of schooling and the commitment of the institution.
