Lively, Baldoni end It Ends With Us legal dispute

Actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have settled their legal dispute over the 2024 film It Ends With Us, avoiding a trial scheduled in New York. The conflict involved mutual allegations arising from the film’s troubled production, including claims of harassment, defamation, and reputational damage.
Lively had accused Baldoni of inappropriate behaviour on set and of orchestrating a campaign to damage her image after she raised concerns. Baldoni denied the allegations and counter-sued, alleging defamation and extortion. A federal judge had previously dismissed parts of both cases.
In a joint statement, both actors said they hoped the settlement would bring closure and promote respectful, harassment-free workplaces. The financial terms were not disclosed. The film, released in 2024, was commercially successful but overshadowed by the off-screen controversy. (PTI)
