SHILLONG, May 13: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Wednesday hosted a public durbar at his office, meeting with residents and delegations from across the state to address a wide range of grievances and developmental requests.
During the session, individuals and community representatives raised concerns regarding infrastructure, healthcare, education and livelihood opportunities.
The chief minister assured the participants of the government’s commitment to people-centric governance and directed officials to investigate the matters raised for immediate follow-up.
The durbar serves as a platform for direct interaction between the administration and the public, intended to improve accessibility and ensure effective grievance redressal.
Various organisations and community groups utilised the opportunity to seek government intervention for local welfare and developmental projects.
