Speaking at a regional camp in Rongjeng, East Garo Hills, the former Chief Secretary said the Commission monitors food security schemes across multiple departments. These include the Public Distribution System (PDS), the PM POSHAN school meal scheme, and Anganwadi Centres under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS).
